PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

VERY RARE original George Marino mastered Carrollton Columbia House first (and ONLY) pressing from 1987 on Atlantic with matte black & white printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics and Columbia House text at the bottom right on the rear cover exclusive to this sole pressing!!!  LP is a gorgeous VG++/NM-.  Cover is VG+ with a name on the inside near the opening that is only visible when removing the LP.  Auction also includes two Specialty 7" copies of Wait on Atlantic in the original company sleeves with Don't Give Up on the B-side!!!  Both are in VG++ condition with the original Venture (R.I.P.) price labels on the sleeves.  THAT'S provenance.  Auction also includes not one, but TWO ultra rare rigid double-sided 12" X 12" in-store promotional displays put out by Atlantic Records in 1987 with LP cover art on the reverse!!!  I bought these from a former Tower Records (R.I.P.) manager here in Chicago some time in the early 2000s.  She was a fan of White Lion and decided to rescue these displays from the Tower wall for her own private collection (which was staggeringly impressive).  She told me that 99% of these displays were either tossed after they were displayed or never displayed at all and then tossed.  Tower staff saw them as disposable swag and clutter and as a result VERY few survived from the 1980s.  Displays have a few staple holes as these were unquestioningly hung on the Tower wall.  These are the kinds of rarities metal fans are going to be fighting over fiercely in the very near future so don't sleep.  

I USE GOLDMINE GRADING MINT (SEALED)  NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
