Description
A 33 1/3 RPM stereo vinyl LP, 'An Electric Storm' by the experimental, electronic band, White Noise
The album was originally released in 1969 on the Island Records label. This a 'repress', probably from the mid-1970s.
This was the debut studio album from White Noise. The band were formed after David Vorhaus, a classical bass player, attended a lecture by Delia Derbyshire. Delia Derbyshire worked for the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, and was responsible for the electronic arrangement of Ron Grainer's 'Doctor Who' theme music.
The album was recorded at Kaleidophon Studios, Camden, London in 1968 and released in June, 1969

The sleeve has a b&w photo of a twin lightning strike., the back has a track listing, lyrics and various credits. The artists' name on the back cover and spine is printed as 'The White Noise'. 'Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd., London, W. 11' in bottom right corner of back cover.
Plain, white, paper inner sleeve (with 'UK Patent No. 1,125,555' printed on it)
Pink-rimmed Island label with the palm tree and island logo, with '? 1969 Island Records Ltd.' below the cat. no. on the labels.

Condition
The vinyl looks G+ - VG.
No noticeable marks or scratches, but surface noise is evident between tracks on playback .
The sleeve is VG, with edge wear and very faint ring wear.
The inner sleeve is creased, with some marks and a small hole (see photo) .
