White Stripes - Elephant
Promotional Double Vinyl LP V2ADV 27148
When the White Stripes were promoting their 2003 release, Jack insisted that all promotional copies be released in vinyl format only, on the understanding that any credible music journalist would still have a record deck!
As a result, only 500 of these were ever pressed & so are highly collectable.
In Mint condition, it's valued in the 2006 Rare Record Price Guide at £125!!!
However, this was a fan's copy i.e. it deserved to be played - therefore I wouldn't describe this as Mint. There are some marks on 3 of the 4 sides. These are cosmetic in nature and don't affect playback, but I don't want anyone who bids for this to think that it's just come off the production line!
The sleeve has some creases & scuff marks on some of the edges.
This also comes with a copy of the original Press Release.
