Whitewood were a psychedelic rock/proto punk band active in the late 1960s and early 1970s. They only recorded one album, which was never given a wide release until 1999. The members identities are unknown.
Rockadelic Record Reissue of a rare LP from 1970. Whitewood: Whitewood (1999, Lim. ed. of 600) One of the more obscure Rockadelic releases is a crude, unpolished 1970 gem that deserves time to manifest itself.
Only 2 known acetate copies exist of this fuzzed-buzzard psyche garage album. Not only one of one of the rarest of all us private pressed Lp's, but one of the wildest and crudest garage-psych record to ever hit your turntable -- raw as hell with lots of guitar & demented lyrics.
