On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Who called 'Live At Leeds' and is an ORIGINAL 1970 UK 1st Pressing on 1st Press Track label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  IT IS ONE OF THE WHO'S RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPS EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS A 100% GENIUNE 1970 'EARLIEST' UK 1ST PRESSING FROM THE 'DAY OF RELEASE'!!!!  100% GENIUNE 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP ARE INCREDIBLY TOUGH TO LOCATE - AND ARE VERY VERY DIFFERENT TO LATER PRESSINGS!!!!  THESE IMPOSSIBLY RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS WERE ONLY EVER PRESSED FOR A VERY VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF TIME (AND CHANGED IMMEDIATELY AFTER RELEASE!) - AND SO FINDING A 100% GENIUNE 1970 UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING THESE DAYS IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!!  AND THERE ARE SOME VERY IMPORTANT DIFFERENCES (WHICH ALL LATER PRESSINGS SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE!) - WHICH IDENTIFY THIS LP AS A 100% GENIUNE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING FROM THE VERY 'DAY OF RELEASE' BACK IN 1970!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN THESE BELOW!!!!

FIRSTLY (AND MOST OBVIOUSLY) THE GATEFOLD COVER HAS THE RAREST (AND EARLIEST!) 'BLACK' PRINT ON THE COVER FRONT (& ON THE INSIDE!) - AND THIS CAME BEFORE THE MORE COMMON RED OR BLUE PRINT THAT FOLLOWED LATER.  THIS ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'BLACK PRINT' WAS ONLY EVER USED ON THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' PRE-RELEASE 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP, AND WAS CHANGED STRAIGHT AFTER RELEASE!!!!  SECONDLY THE MATRIX ENDINGS ON THE RECORD ARE THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' - BEING A//1 B//1!!!!  AND THIS AGAIN - IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  THE VAST MAJORITY OF COPIES OF THIS LP THAT TURN UP HAVE A//3 B//3 MATRIXES (OR HIGHER!) - AND ARE LATER PRESSINGS.  FINDING A 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP WITH A//1 B//1 MATRIX ENDINGS IS INCREDIBLY HARD!!!!  THIRDLY THERE IS SOME VERY IMPORTANT DIFFERENCES IN THE INSERTS!!!!  HOWEVER - ALTHOUGH I WOULD LOVE TO DESCRIBE THESE - I CANT!!!!  AND THIS IS BECAUSE THE INSERTS ARE STILL COMPLETELY 'SEALED' INSIDE THEIR ORIGINAL 'TRACING PAPER' PACKET THAT THEY WERE SUPPLIED WITH BACK IN 1970!!!!  I THOUGHT VERY CAREFULLY ABOUT OPENING THIS PACKET TO SEE THE INSERTS FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME - BUT DECIDED NOT TO FOR 2 VERY IMPORTANT REASONS!!!!  FIRSTLY - IT WOULD NATURALLY RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE VERY FRAGILE 'TRACING PAPER' BAG THAT HAS CARRIED THESE INSERTS FOR ALL THESE YEARS, AND SECONDLY IT WOULD ONLY SERVE TO MASSIVELY DE-VALUE THIS LP - AS THIS IS THE ONLY TIME I HAVE EVER FOUND A 'SEALED' SET OF INSERTS (THAT HAVE SO CLEARLY NEVER BEEN OPENED!) EVER!!!!  AND THIS SURELY HAS TO MAKE THIS ONE OF THE RAREST WHO LPS TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE - EVER!!!!  FINDING THIS LP IS 1ST PRESS 'BLACK PRINT' & A//1 B//1 MATRIXES IS HARD ENOUGH.  BUT TO FIND ONE WITH A COMPLETELY 'SEALED' BAG OF INSERTS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!!  AND I AM VERY CERTAIN - THAT CONSIDERING THIS BAG OF INSERTS HAS NEVER EVER BEEN OPENED - THAT THERE WILL BE A FULL SET OF INSERTS, AND IF YOU LOOK REALLY HARD YOU CAN EVEN SEE THAT THE 'MARQUEE POSTER' IS INSIDE TOO!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1970 UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS TRACK LABEL, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS A//1 B//1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS 'SEALED' SET OF INSERTS (+ POSTER!), 1ST PRESS INSERT 'TRACING PAPER' BAG (WITH THE INSERTS & POSTER SEALED INSIDE!), AND 1ST PRESS 'BLACK PRINT' GATEFOLD STAPLED COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK Track 1st Pressing from 1970 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 2406 001 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Track labels (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Who at their best!!!! Any fan of The Who, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 1 ULTRA light hairline, only 1 MEGA light scuffline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some EXTREMELY low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!!  THE MEGA RARE SET OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS 12 INSERTS (& POSTER) - ARE IN PERFECT CONDITION & FULLY SEALED!!!!  The 1st Press Gatefold 'Black Print' MacNeill Press Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has only VERY light edge wear (NO splits!), only some light spinal wear (again NO splits!), only slight corner wear, only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking), some typical VERY light yellowing (virtually UNAVOIDABLE on this cover!), NO rubbing, barely ANY grubbyness AT ALL, and NO writing!!!!  The cover also seems slightly 'thicker' than most covers of this type - but this is more than likely just another sign of a VERY early 1st Press cover indeed!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  The staples are firmly in place and NOT rusty (though 1 does look to have been replaced at some point in the past)!!!!  Even the inside is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, and barely ANY yellowing AT ALL!!!!  Though this cover does display some VERY light wear/ageing typical of this VERY fragile type of cover - it has NO major defects and is VERY presentable indeed!!!!  And it is certainly MILES better than the usual ripped, torn and heavily damaged examples that turn up for sale!!!!  It is EXTREMELY presentable indeed and as I just mentioned is MUCH better than most which turn up - and is simply IMPOSSIBLE to find with the ULTRA RARE 'Earliest' Black Print on the cover front!!!!. The cover must MEGA STRICTLY grade Very Good(Minus) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
