Description

On offer here is a scarce becoming much rarer original album in mono by the Who entitled Who Sell Out from 1967 on the collectible track label 612 002 matrices side 1 A 2129 side 2 B117.I am not an expert on matrices but this seems to be a very early pressing By now the Who were producing wonderful albums with such tracks as I can see for miles and Mary Anne.Just look at the photographs.Sadly no poster but would be worth a fortune if this was present.
Labels These are crisp and bright with no writing on the label.There are some light spindle lines but they are not easy to see unless peered at closely.
Vinyl This is a really nice example Under a strong halogen light there was the odd wispy line  probably caused by taking the vinyl from the sleeve.They are not feelable and there are no jumps or scratches.They could only be seen under this type of light.The vinyl lies flat on the deck with no dishing or warping.It plays with minimal background noise  but hardly discernible and can only just be heard on the quietest of tracks.To be honest I have never heard a track record play totally silently,after all it is vinyl but this is the best I have heard for many years.The record has been cleaned by a professional cleaning machine which cost £1000s but in reality there was no need to do this.
Sleeve
This is an excellent sleeve.These laminated sleeves tend to wear easily but  this is the best one I have seen for years.There is no wear on the top and bottom edges and the writing on the spine is fully readable with no missing letters.The front and rear only has minimal creasing and there is very slight wear on the bottom left corner but I am being very picky in mentioning this.It is difficult to see it.There is no writing on the sleeve or names.A great sleeve which is nearly 50 years old.
Overall I do not think this will disappoint any winning bidder and there is a low start price to encourage everyone to bid.If anyone is unhappy I offer a full refund but please play the game in other words if the winning bidder is secretly happy,please do not contact me just to get a further discount.Overall I would grade this record and sleeve as above excellent but not fully mint but you can judge for yourselves from the photographs.

I will ship world wide but if I send to countries such as Russia or the Ukraine this would have to be at the buyers risk because parcels do get lost regularly or take ages to arrive sometimes up to 8 weeks or more.Parcels to Greece and Italy take a long time to be delivered.I offer free postage in the U.K.£10 for Europe and £15 for the rest of the world.I prefer PayPal but will accept a cheque or postal order in the U.K.,PayPal only outside the U.K.
