Description
TWO GORGEOUS Albums (two vinyls): a 1971 ORIGINAL Decca U.S. issue + the heavy-gauge audiophile CLASSIC RECORDS issue >> NEVER touched by a turntable & the Decca Original, although previously owned, looks factory-fresh (See Details Below)...
>> This original Decca issue is one of the few remaining jewels in the crown of my collection PLUS I'm including the highly-regarded Classic Records 200 gram audiophile issue, as well >> DON'T miss this one...
Check out all Eight photos to see this seemingly unplayed '71 original issue of The WHO 'Who's Next' LP (Decca Records #DL 79182 with stamping in the deadwax/run-out zones: "7 12888 E1" / "MG7 12889-W1-2 " PLUS+++ Classic Records #2408 102) featuring: "Baba O' Riley", "Bargain", "Love Ain't For Keeping", "My Wife", "Song Is Over", "Getting In Tune", "Going Mobile", "Behind Blue Eyes", and "Won't Get Fooled Again" >> The Classic Records issue has NEVER BEEN PLAYED and the Decca Original looks like it was never played at all!! I bought them last year & REMOVED THE FACTORY WRAP from the Classic audiophile issue to inspect (and to take a few photos) and the Decca original (previously opened by it's original owner & treated gingerly & rarely played, if ever) is just a genuine pleasure to behold. I originally had plans to keep them as part of my listening library but I haven't owned a turntable in a few years & it will probably be a while before I buy a new one, IF I buy one at all. My loss is your gain. I've been surfing eBay for two years and have built up a collection of over 400 cherry-picked vintage LPs (99.9% factory sealed and NO Record Clubs) and I've decided to sell them.
>> VINYL CONDITION:
Shimmering original medium-weight vinyl with GORGEOUS Decca labels (SO glossy & fresh, they look like fresh-baked pies) are in factory-fresh condition (just as you would expect). NO marks on the label nor on the beautiful vinyl >> ASTONISHINGLY preserved.
Beautiful, heavy-gauge 200 gram audiophile vinyl from legendary Classic Records is also gorgeously factory-fresh & never played. It's been stored with the Decca original (in it's high quality Classic records inner sleeve) since I had the beautiful cover gently framed (which I cannot part with).
>> COVER CONDITION:
SUPERB Original U.S. Decca Records Medium-Gloss Cover is super-nice with two corner bumps (one very small to the upper right & one larger to the lower right) & the slightest of micro-wear the corner tips (from the super-tight 40 year-old shrinkwrap that had begun to wear a bit thin) & a few small crease-wrinkles approaching the spine & edges & a larger one associated with the lower right corner bump; two VERY small zones of wear to the spine; two tiny pinholes (literally) in the upper left corner; NO seam-splits; NO discoloration, NO water damage; a very tiny degree of vinyl ring impression; NO promo cuts, NO promo stamps; spine print is very nearly centered; NO Record Club; NO Barcode.
>> Original thin-paper inner sleeve shows only the slightest bit of ageing & wear. Deluxe Classic Records audiophile sleeve looks splendid.
IMPORTANT: Buyer pays for shipping >> Media Mail is $4.00 for 1 LP and $1.00 for each additional LP up to the box capacity. I use two sizes of good quality boxes that will hold about 4-5 single LPs each (8-9 single LPs for the larger size) & I pack them well to greatly reduce the risk of transit damage (seam splits, etc...). I can also ship outside the continental U.S. but that usually gets a little expensive so keep that in mind.
