Description
This is a shrink wrap sealed copy of the 1963 vinyl lp box set featuring the original Broadway cast recording of Edward Albee's legendary drama "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?". There's a 2 and a half" x 1 and a half" tear in the lower front cover shrink wrap and a 1" x 1" tear in the front cover shrink wrap near the spine; 3 of the 4 corners also have minimal shelf wear that rubs off smidgens of the shrink wrap, but the seal is entirely intact. This production won 5 1962-3 Tony Awards: Best Play, Best Dramatic Actress (Uta Hagen), Best Dramatic Actor (Arthur Hill), Best Director/Play (Alan Schneider), Best Producer/Play (Richard Barr & Clinton Wilder). Included in this box set is a 16-page illustrated booklet containing articles by Albee, iconic stage director Harold Clurman, theatre critic Walter Kerr, and Columbia Records president Goddard Lieberson.
