a Boss tune for the discerning Original Skinhead selector

( Comes at a time in 1968, when the Amalgamated studio was producing some of the best Upbeat and Punchy Skinhead Reggae, such as FJG 01 - Man A Wail, The Young Souls ~ FJG 02 - Jumpy Jumpy Girl, The Viceroys ~ FJG 03 - Talawa, Unknown ~ FJG 04 - Dont You Know, The Pioneers ~ FJG 05 - Hurry Come Up, The Pioneers )

to the Melodians 1968  'Links'  vocal ~ Sweet Rose

 'Links' ~ was a small independent short lived label from 1968/69, set up and run by a group of musicians ( Gaylads, Melodians, Ken Boothe, and Delroy Wilson ) to try and get some fair payment and royalties from their music they would self produce.

But, the big producers soon shut them down, by using their muscle to prevent Links from getting any radio air play or media exposure

I post hundreds of records abroad every year by normal uninsured 'Small Packet' option, and it is very rare for a record not to reach it's destination, but very rarely, and to certain South America countries the odd record does not make it.
