From my own vast private collection gathered over last 45+ years ...these mostly from 1973 - 1978 I had my own Record Store here in Northern California in the 1970's and 80's -and bringing in wonderfully vibrant and amazing Progressive Rock Imports was a top specialty and priority - I was (still am) so nuts about this music that I had 3 different evolving weekly Radio Programs dedicated to it over 20 years - and loved nothing more than turning folks on to these bands and immersing myself and my audience in these exotic sounds. Now it is finally time for me to pass them on - my hardest LPs to part with, some 8 boxes of which I shall be listing throughout this Spring. Many of the leading progenitors of the 1st progressive era, but quite a few more obscure but no less amazing artists of the period. . *Sadly I am NOT FAST at listing and can am lucky to get around 50 up at a time, but they will keep on coming (as I pause between series, to focus on top level packing and immediate shipping) so keep checking back.
This leads me to the subject of "collecting" purchases for combined shipping with further purchases, which some ask for. I am happy to save LPs that are purchased within SAME Auction Series period (7 Days from 1st won auction) IF YOU ASK Me to. I MUST receive payment within 7 days of initial purchase. If you are in another country, wishing to have won/purchased LPs HELD ASIDE longer, for future (within 30 days maximum) combined purchase shipping, your note on your PayPal payment to HOLD items for combined shipping later will guarantee their being saved aside for your further bidding. When you state that you are done, your invoice will be revised to reflect complete, correct shipping discount at that time. If you DO NOT ASK me to hold, item will Ship within 24 hours. CHECK MY FEEDBACK, I am ALWAYS 100% RELIABLE on this. International bidders note that any package over 4 Lbs. (usually 5 to 6 LPs or more) MUST ship by PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL. US Post Office no longer ships above that weight at the lower, slower 1st Class International rate. . The vinyl here is in uniformly spectacular condition (Most being EX+ to NM) always extremely carefully handled. Some of the covers have minor issues - a small handful have significant issues, but the great majority are in VG+ to EX+ condition. Almost everything offered here is Original 1st Press - Full Details for each given in Description below. .

USA issue of Tombstone Valentine (Released Nov. 1970) with different cover art than Finnish release.

WIGWAM's second album "Tombstone Valentine" uniquely stands on its own as not only a precursor to what was still to come but also a wonderful album bubbling over with soul searching psych/prog leanings. Tombstone Valentine is not as experimental as their debut, but partly because of that, it's also a much more coherent and better balanced effort. The line-up had changed slightly:; introducing new WIGWAM members Jukka Tolonen (guitarist) and bassist/composer Pekka Pohjola. WIGWAM were lead by both Jukka Gustavson (organ, piano) and vocalist England's Jim Pembroke'. Overall this is an excellent album that showed WIGWAM in early form performing unconventional and original selection of Folk/Prog and heavy Blues/Psych.

WIGWAM are considered as the most significant band of the Finnish prog scene of the 70's and this early album, their 2nd release, shows why they were so well loved and the many talents of these players who would go on to more great things on their own in later years.

SUPERB sound on this very well preserved 1st Press vinyl !
