ANYTHING I CAN DO / OH SO GOOD ... 7-inch, 45rpm single by WIL COLLINS & WILLPOWER produced by ART POLHEMUS and TOM BRIDWELL. Original Italian pressing on the DERBY label (DBR 10076), from 1977. Desirable, Italian-only picture sleeve issue featuring the modern soul anthem, ANYTHING I CAN DO. Our superior Italian release comes with striking, Amazon rainforest picture sleeve artwork and an alternative B-side as OH SO GOOD was not issued on the US Bareback label single. A superb double-sider. Sheer class all the way, sophisticated disco with joyous vocals and handclaps over vintage synthesizers / funky drums / bass and stylish guitar vamps. Great for DJs. Top production sound. The seldom heard, 2-step groove of OH SO GOOD has sexy Don Blackman style basslines and phased, piccolo flute over the closing bars. Big record with certain Japanese soul boys and girls. Very rare 45!!!
Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
Vinyl is closer to shiny M- condition overall with a few hairlines from sleeve removal. Some light surface noises. The picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition overall with ring creasing and some other creasing from storage (mostly above the bottom left and right corner area). A few small wear marks to corners and edges. Very rare 45!!!
