Description
Rare copy of a first pressing of Wilco's 2LP 1996 set. This non-gatefold version was the only vinyl copy available until the 180 gr reissue in 2009. Mint vinyl that looks un-played, with near-mint sleeve, only because of the promo cut (5/16" x 1/8") on lower right of cover (see pic #5). In the U.S.; ships from OH; packaged securely. From AllMusic's 4.5 star (out of 5) review: "Being There's 19 tracks are individually outstanding, and taken together, they add up to a three-way cross between Neil Young's Harvest, the Rolling Stones' Exile On Main Street, and Big Star's 3rd that still leaves room for some impressive tricks of its own. If Being There isn't Wilco's best album, it's the one that staked their claim as an important American band, and it's a rich, dazzling experience from beginning to end."
