Description

Uncle Tupelo / 89 / 93: An Anthology - Columbia Legacy/Sundazed Records LP 5153 (2002)(US) ...This auction is for an original factory sealed Double Record on U.S. vinyl which is no longer in print.

Uncle Tupelo serves up powerful, timeless, and joyous music on each of these 21 cuts. A splendid trip down memory lane for those who were there and a revelation for the uninitiated, 89/93: An Anthology offers tangible proof that Uncle Tupelo was a group that truly mattered -- and still matters nearly a decade after the bandmembers called it a day. while Jay Farrar's songwriting tended to dominate the group's albums, this compilation strives to give equal time to his then-partner Jeff Tweedy, most likely to make the disc equally appealing to new fans of Son Volt and Wilco, Farrar and Tweedy's post-UT groups. You could hardly ask for a better beginner's guide to Uncle Tupelo and its music -- the best-known tunes are all here and the sequence gracefully replicates the arc of the band's career.

The brand new Records and Gatefold Cover (with title stickers) are in excellent (Mint) condition. The cover has no surface or seam wear and the shrinkwrap is tight with no tears. Also included will be a plastic outer record sleeve. Auction photo may have a light gray spot(s) on left side of picture. It is a camera lens problem and not on the actual cover. Satisfaction Guaranteed. For payment please use Paypal (other payments are no longer accepted due to eBay’s new policy. If that is a problem, please let them know and contact us to work something out). Payment and Shipping information is listed below. All items are shipped worldwide.
