Description

JAMES B. WELCH Organist Concert New And Sealed Audiophile Vinyl LP Record
Record label/brand: Wilson Audio H-1-77 upc/mpn: None year: 1977
A rare Wilson Audio release of one of David Wilson's very first recording efforts while he was still a product development engineer at Cutter Laboratories. An audiophile's dream, this incredibly natural recording of Welch's organ work will shake the house.
Album is new and still sealed in it's original loose shrinkwrap. Corners are sharp, colors are vibrant and spine is straight. No flaws or blemishes. 100% mint.
There is lots of technical information on the sleeve regarding the recording. There is also an insert by David Wilson describing the recording process.
Review: Musical selections are from Walther, Haydn, Bach, Buxtehude, Durufle, and Vierne. The Walther and Haydn selections were performed on the Flentrop organ at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Palo Alto, California. The remaining selections were performed on a Moller Organ of Hagerstown, Maryland.
