1984 legendary audiophile classic in great condition. Extremely well-produced record on the TAS (The Absolute Sound) List of extraordinary recordings.
Boutique audiophile label, Wilson Audio, is responsible for some of the best sounding recordings ever made. David Wilson, famous for his incredible speaker line, is at the helm and the sounds are amazing. Recorded with all custom made analog gear and half-speed mastered to perfection, these were pressed in very small quantities and are now considered to be highly collectable.
Condition of Sleeve: EX. Record sleeve has beginning of foxing and shelf wear. Glossy peach laminate is beginning to fleck off on top seam. Very slight corner ding on top corner lip. Very slight crease on bottom corner lip. Beginning signs of ring wear when examined in bright light.
Condition of Vinyl: Near Mint. Just beautiful, glossy. appears unplayed.

Review: The Francesco Trio’s reputation has grown rapidly since its San Francisco debut in 1965. Now recognized as one of the finest chamber ensembles in the country, the Trio has won enthusiastic critical praise for its concerts throughout the U.S. and Canada. The Trio Made a notably successful New York debut concert in Alice Tully Hall as winners of the prestigious Naumburg Chamber Music Award in 1974. In addition to several works written for the Francesco Trio, their repertoire includes the standard Classic, Romantic, and Twentieth Century trios including Copland, Ives, Milhaud, Kirchner, and Shifrin. This is their debut recording as a Trio.
