Every Tuesday night (European time) I will offer old punky records. My name is ‘punky_music’


Attention: the cover of this legendary punk classic from the States is photocopied. You are bidding on the superb debut 7“ by the WIPERS from Portland. eBay prices with sleeve: $265 + $238 + $211. All three tracks ‘Better Off Dead’ / 'Up In Flames’ and ‘Does It Hurt’ are real guitar punk classics that don't feature on their debut LP. Here's your chance to buy the original first vinyl pressing, issued on their own private mini label 'Trap' records in 1978 (number 810x44). It is the same label who kicked out the punk singles by SADO-NATION (I'm Trouble) and STIPHNOYDS (Afraid of The Russians). As you know only first 'Better Of Dead' pressings were born in a yellow/red/black sleeve (see scan). Second pressings were issued in a different jacket (orange/black cover). The original matrix numbers of this all-time classic are: A+R 810x44-A and A+R 810x44-B. This US model will definitely grow in value and the condition is fantastic!!

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
