Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy (from the Los Angeles pressing, per the matrix #s) of the third LP by British post-punk group Wire, released in 1979. The final studio LP by the first iteration of the group, the record continues their move towards a more experimental sound, though it does feature one bona fide (if eccentric) pop song, "Map Ref. 41º N 93º W." (For what it's worth, those coordinates are for a seemingly random location in south-central Iowa, though perhaps they're intended as a brainy reference to America's "heartland.") The jacket is close to M- with light ring wear and staining (EX+). There is a promo sticker on the front cover. The disc is clean with some light scuffing, and plays with occasional light surface noise (EX+). The record comes with a custom inner sleeve (EX-).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
