WIRE PINK FLAG UK Harvest FIRST WITH THICK CARD INNER Punk Colin Newman Dome
Wire, Pink Flag.
England pressed EMI Harvest Records stereo LP, SHSP 4076.
Earliest pressing with thick card lyric inner.
A4/B3 matrices, BLAIR etched to run-outs/dead wax.
Vinyl visually glossy and clean. Close inspection reveals some light hairline scuff marks but no scratches or deep marks. Spindle activity is light and labels are clean.
Plays with some very low level crackle detectable at the very few quieter spots and separator bands. However the bulk of the LP plays very cleanly and this early cut is really vibrant, loud and punchy.
Inner sleeve has a neat three and a half inch split to bottom centre else is EX.
External sleeve around VG minus. Some overall grubbiness and wear, some ringwear impression. Grade mainly held back by ringwear leeching patches at top and bottom of rear panel. Edges and spine fairly neat and tidy with minimal wear, although fractional loss of text to spine titles.
