how i grade records

nm         very seldom i rate records this way, someone can find a flaw in the records even sealed

ex          the record has been handled and played very carefully. there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve

vg++      most of my records fall into this range, some will have a few marks, but well taken care of and play fine

vg+        there may be present superficial hairlines, which don't affect the musical experience

vg          record displays visible signs of playing, such as loss of vinyl luster, light audible surface scratches or surface noise
