Description
WITH THE BEATLES 1963 - JOBETTE REFERENCE + MT CODE
Features:
1. 1963 pressing of “With the Beatles”.
2. PMC 1206 MONO with matrix numbers XEX 447-1N (Side 1) & XEX 448-1N (Side 2)
3. Tax Code embossed ‘MT’ on Side 1. Later pressings mainly had ‘KT’.
4. Mother numbers are Side 1 = 2RR & Side 2 = 2LD – another indication that this was one of the earliest to be pressed.
5. Has "The Parlophone Co" & "Recording 1st Published 1963". It comes without the “Sold in the UK” reference which was introduced for later pressings.
6. Triple flip back cover printed by "Garrod & Lofthouse (with the ‘Patents Pending text).
7. Laminated cover with large ‘Mono' lettering on the front top right hand corner.
8. Yellow and black labels.
9. Jobette credit for "MONEY"
10. Original EMI inner sleeve in excellent condition – minor seam split only.
11. Cover is in excellent condition with no missing pieces – spine is in tact with clear print. Front cover has no tears, marks or writing. Rear cover is in great condition but has a very faint name/address of previous owner.
12. The LP itself is a thick vinyl pressing that retains its gloss. No warping at all. Both sides are in very good condition for their age – feathering and dust marks only. The vinyl just needs a bit of a clean to bring it back to its best
13. Labels are in excellent condition.
14. This copy has "YOU REALLY GOTTA HOLD ON ME" on the cover and on the record itself & “I WANNA BE YOUR MAN” on both the record and the sleeve.
15. Has "Recording first published in 1963" on the rear of the cover.
