Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - With The Beatles' 1963 UK MONO vinyl LP!
This particular pressing is the final corrected mono version of With The Beatles - with the corrected sleeve and labels. Both correctly read 'You Really Got A Hold On Me'. Also, it features a RARE EJ DAY corrected sleeve and original EMITEX inner sleeve! Almost 53 years old!! VERY RARE, DO NOT MISS OUT!!!

EARLY MOTHER STAMPER ON SIDE 1!





Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - there are a few lightly feelable marks but they're not deep and don't feel like they'd cause any issues! Still retains a nice gloss and shine. Rated as VERY GOOD. Label is VERY GOOD.                       Side 2 - there is a large scratch going across the end of track 2 and into track 3...I will play test this to see if it causes any issues. Elsewhere, nice shine with light marks.
Audio: I HAVE PLAY TESTED TRACKS 1, 8, 9 & 10 ONLY!! There is some crackle on the run-in. The punchy warm mono audio has wonderful bass and crisp highs! There is some background crackle throughout but a deep clean will definitely help! A very enjoyable listen! Rated as VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+! The scratch mentioned in the previous paragraph cause a few pops and ticks but no skips, sticks or jumps! No major issues and I'm sure a deep clean will help. Please note that this may differ depending on the sensitivity of your stylus etc but these early 60s mono records were made fantastically well and really do hold up well!

Inner Sleeve: The original EMITEX inner sleeve is currently in VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition! It has NO RIPS, NO TEARS and NO SPLITS! There is some discolouration and creases however. Houses the record extremely well! 


Sleeve: The original 1963 EJ DAY MONO sleeve is currently rated as a strong VERY GOOD! I'd rate it higher if it wasn't for the slight flipback damage to the top left on the rear of the sleeve. It could just be glued back down as it hasn't split or anything - strict grading! The back is clean, free from writing and white! Very rare, less common EJ DAY sleeve with tight flipbacks and a great 100% readable clean spine. The front has a lovely gloss and shine with a few light marks and age-related wear but nothing serious - it looks great! Slight corner creases top right but no major issues here.
