General Description:

This is an opportunity to acquire an exceptional rarity in Excellent condition. An original 1st Pressing WITH THE BEATLES, PMC 1206 in MONO with the JOBETE publishing credit for MONEY on side 2 and with the more sought after GOTTA mis-spelling on both side 2 label and outer sleeve. This mistake was very quickly rectified during production in 1963.

The labels, vinyl, both inner (USE EMITEX) and outer sleeve (by GARROD & LOFTHOUSE) are all in excellent condition with no alien writings or stickers. The quality thick slab of vinyl retains a deep glossy shine with only a very few very light whispy hairlines. This is a truly stunning example with all the right credentials (please enjoy the photos).

Condition: Labels: EX No alien sticky labels or writing. Vinyl: EX A deep glossy shine with one or two whispy hairlines. Audio Quality: EX Super duper paratrooper Outer Sleeve: EX Garrod & Lofthouse Flipback Inner Sleeve: EX+ Original poly-lined Use EMITEX The laminated flipback sleeve by Garrod & Lofthouse has nice smooth edges most of the way round with minimal creases and only slight storage wear and scuffing to the corners. A very nice clean and bright back with no writing or stickers. Some slight yellowing with age. Has the "GOTTA" mis-spelling.

GRADING

Our vinyl grading system is based on the criteria used by 'Record Collector' and the 'Record Collector - Rare Record Price Guide'. We believe this system is widely considered to be the Industry Standard. Please note we have used our own grading abbreviations (in parenthesis) and our own variations (in between) where it becomes subjective and difficult to distinguish between two grading categories. Please also note that most of our vinyl is generally (unless otherwise stated) VG or above. Grade Record Sleeve Mint (M) The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition Near Mint (NM) or EX+ In between (difficult to distinguish) Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing VG + In between (difficult to distinguish) Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable Good + In between (difficult to distinguish) Good (G) The record has been played so much that sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. Fair The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained, and/or defaced Poor The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler. back to top

Packaging: Please be assured that your vinyl record(s) will be packed securely with at least one stiffener and placed within a heavy duty mailer for extra protection.
