A Good condition disc. Several surface marks / scuffs / light scratches (see photos). Quite a lot of spindle marks/wear around centre hole. Original MONO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, warps, or writing on labels.
MT tax code embossed at centre of Side One label.
Very good sound quality throughout, with some minor surface noise, and a few minor "pops" here and there. Very listenable. Tested on a Thorens turntable.
Sleeve "printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.", with laminated front and flipback design in Good condition generally. Minor half-inch split to lower right corner, and a half inch tear to the centre of the rear opening edge (see photos). No other seam splits, but the sleeve generally is quite worn, with some creasing, wear to edges, wear to opening edges, and age-related discolouration to rear of sleeve. Spine has some slight wear, but text is still mostly legible. No writing anywhere.
Supplied in original EMI "Emitex" factory inner sleeve, with inner lining, which has slight seam splits to left and right edges, and a taped seam split to the lower edge.
GRADING:
All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:
MINT (M):
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
