this is part of my fabulous beatles collection, please see my other auctions for more rarities
This is a first press issue with JOBETE credit for the song MONEY and GOTTA credit on BOTH COVER AND RECORD in AMAZING condition,by far THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!
COVER-EX+++/M-
The original garrod & lofthouse flipback cover is amazing with no major damage like writing,stickers etc and the seams and spine have NO WEAR and NO SPLITS!!, with all the text on the spine being clear and readable.The front which has the LARGE STEREO is very clean and glossy with no storage ring wear and no laminate cracking.The four corners are nice and the border around the photo of the lads is SNOW WHITE!! with no browning or yellowing,the only thing stopping the font being near mint is some "half moon" creases near the opening..THATS ALL..AMAZING!!!.The back which again has no storage ring wear is SNOW WHITE also with no browning or yellowing just a little wear in the bottom left corner and no tears just a couple of flipback creases.Altogether a fantastic cover!!
RECORD-EX+++
The record which is housed in an emitex inner sleeve (m-) is STRICTLY and SEVERLY graded as its close to MINT- and some would grade it as that!!!,The labels which have THE PARLOPHONE CO and RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1963 and is KT stamped are clean with no wear!!!!!!.The wax itself has that just pressed look as it shines with full gloss and no groove wear it looks MINT!!,if you look under a very very strong light and tilt at an angle you can just a couple of very light scuffs/marks which have been probably caused by taking the record out of the inner sleeve.On playing the lp it starts from a quiet run on and goes quietly onto the first track "It won`t be long" and as soon as you hear the stereo sound of this great lp you know you are listening to something fantastic!!,the sound is ultra sharp and all the tracks play fantastic with no crackles etc just minimal light background noise BETWEEN SOME tracks but this does not interfere with the enjoyment of this fantastic and rare FIRST PRESS STEREO lp which is usually found played to death!!
