CLEAN VG+ DISC & COVER!
The vinyl has superficial marks that don't affect play; docked a notch to VG+ record. The cover has vibrant colors and looks terrific. It's got a 1" split at the lower right corner and wear on its spine, but it's still a nice VG+ cover. Highly collectible 1st pressing (with "1A" in the trail-out wax) of a mega-scarce LP.
This March 30, 1968 New York show was one of The Yardbirds' last, with Jimmy Page their only guitarist. Soon Page put together a new band with his mates Plant, Jones, and Bonham. The shape of Led to come is evident in the first recordings of Dazed And Confused (here entitled I'm Confused) and White Summer (which later morphed into Over The Hills And Far Away). Jimmy bows his guitar in I'm A Man, a habit he perfected with Led Zeppelin.
Epic Records sought to capitalize on Zep's thundering success by dusting off the 3-year-old tapes to release this LP in 1971. Led Zeppelin's label Atlantic immediately filed suit, and Epic withdrew the album before anybody had a chance to buy it. Today this major rarity is very hard to find.
