No introduction needed for this one - one of the pinnacles of Midwest acid psychedelia - the Wizards from Kansas's self-titled 1970 album on Mercury. Great covers of Codine and High Flying Bird, and trippy originals like She Rides With Witches and Misty Mountainside. These guys had a definite West Coast rural psych sound, but were actually from Kansas, as their name suggests. Beautiful original issue here, nice textured cover, cover grades VG++ with only edge wear and minor seam splits here and there - very little ringwear especially given the black cover - in fact, this one has LESS ringwear than the one used for the counterfeit reissue vinyl edition years ago! Vinyl looks great and plays through VG++ to EXCELLENT. A great chance to pick up a rare original issue of a psychedelic masterpiece.
