The Swedish old school death metallers WOMBBATH from Västmanland are already a felt eternity in the scene. In the whole 28 years of existence they have only just brought it to 2 complete studio albums & a few EPs. So WOMBBATH had let the crowd to wait 22 years for a new album after their debut ''Internal Caustic Torments'' before in 2015 ''Downfall Rising'' appeared. Now only 3 short years later the next work ''The Great Desolation'' is already in the starting blocks. There are a good deal of mangy Death Metal on the menu-card over the course of 38 minutes, mainly marked by harsh growls & shifting mid-tempo riffing. Anyone who likes to hear his Death Metal oldschool & raw, can still access with no regrets at WOMBBATH's 9 tracks. The limited LP Version comes in an edition of only 300 copies in black vinyl with lyric insert.
