Amazing!!! What we have here technically DOES NOT EXIST and is not supposed to exist. To the best of our best knowledge, the existence of this PROMO-ONLY mono version of this great album has never been documented or substantiated, and none of the price books and guides currently in print make any reference to its history or background. The historical importance of this item cannot be overestimated: this is an equivalent of discovering a long-lost animal- or plant species!!! This is how the sound of the performing artists really, truly, actually must have sounded to a stoned-to-death, waist-deep-in-the-mud love crowd

The bidders should note that this album contains “dedicated” mono mixes which are considerably different: much more raw and "punchy" than the common, commercially available stereo mixes.

(a)            WE GRADE THE VINYL AS NEAR MINT. Some VERY LIGHT AND SUPERFICIAL abrasions – mostly sleeve scuffs - are (barely) visible, but are probably inaudible, and do not affect visual integrity or beauty of the vinyl. The original luster is very much intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles almost like new. Note: very light and barely visible thermal “haze” (light “clouding” on the surface of the vinyl) noted on the first track on two sides; this is only a very minor visual distraction and has no effect on playing whatsoever.

(b)            The record is pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

(d)            White Promo Label version of this title is much rarer that a regular, commercially released, version of this title. We estimate that stock copies of this album outnumber promo copies by a ratio of at least 100:1.

(e)             In addition, Mono pressing of this title is much rarer, and by far more preferable to its stereo counterpart. We think that the mix is more natural, humane, "organic" and that the mixes are somewhat different than on the stereo version. We estimate that stereo copies of this album outnumber mono pressings by a ratio of at least 500:1.

(f)              Stock (commercially released) mono copies of this album are NOT known to exist.

-         Cover has JUST A HINT of ring wear (nothing significant); On the scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the least, and 10 being the most severe), we assess the severity of ring wear as 1.

-         Cover shows JUST A HINT of yellowing on both sides, apparently from aging.

-         Minor shelf wear noted on the seams (nothing significant)

-         Cover has a minor , barely visible, 'bump' (dent) along the upper seam (nothing significant)
