UNDENIABLY iconic.
If you couldn't be there because you were to far away, born too late, in jail, overseas, stuck in a war in Vietnam or for whatever reason, at least you can get a feel of this this album in your hands and listen to the Godsends at their best. I wasn't there. I was actually stuck in war - back in a faraway land called Biafra! Even if wasn't busy ducking bullets and bombs, I was only 12 going to 13 at the time and I would have been allowed in even if I found my way to the States.
This vintage 70s album in very good condition for playing or as a collector item. The album cover is in good and clean condition and the records, well, stunningly near NEW! Well preserved. They look unplayed. I have never played them. The CD does a good job for me.
I have enjoyed the presence of this iconic album in my house and the bragging rights that went with it, but I think it's time to let go as I slide into that downsize place screaming "what a ride"!.
