Description
This is as nice a copy of this amazing record as I have seen. Mono Deep Groove vinyl #7166 pressed in 1960 by Prestige records by Rusy Van Gelder in New Jersey.
Brought this in to my local record shop to get an honest grade from them. They were oohing and ahhing over it and advised me to list it modestly as a VG+ for the vinyl as well as VG+ for the sleeve. "Even though they're probably better than that, collectors can be fickle, so better undergrade and leave them pleasantly surprised."
Vinyl looks and sounds great. There are a couple minor hairlines that don't affect playback as well as one small printing dent/impression that doesn't appear to affect playback. Very light back crackle during the quiet spaces in between songs. As you can see, record is glossy, clean and seems very little played.
Sleeve is very clean with just light corner wear and the faintest hint of ringwear if you hold it up to the light and squint. As you can see in the pics, there is a small owner id sticker on the back.
