Description

RARE in SUPERB CONDITION!  HIGHLY SOUGHT AMONG COLLECTORS!!!
 VERTIGO by Bernard Hermann.
Original 1st Pressing, 1958, Mercury Records (MG 20384). On the original black LONG PLAYING MICROGROOVE Mercury label!

RARE original 1st pressing with breathtaking cover photo still of stars James Stewart and Kim Novak from what many believe to be one of the greatest soundtrack albums of all time to one of the greatest motion pictures of all time. This beauteous cover demands to be framed and adored!
While Alfred Hitchcock, the proclaimed "Great One," spins a complex, entangled web of multi-layered intrigue and suspense  in the motion picture, Bernard Hermann creates a hypnotic scape of dizzying entrapment with his musical score.

James Stewart is a legend. And regarding Kim Novak, if Marilyn Monroe was drop-dead gorgeous, Kim Novak's looks and hourglass figure would drop men dead, bury them, dig therm up, and bury them all over again. She was ahead of my time, but movies and photos don't lie. For my money, NO woman on the big screen pulverized men's senses like Kim Novak.

This 55-year-old album looks like museum quality!

Buy it now while you can. The music is ageless. So is the cover design.

EXCELLENT Cover Condition!!! Just a very tiny corner ding on the uppermost corner point of the spine, and a small fray at the lower part of the spine. The visual space of this cover is absolutely magnificent and the spine is solid!
EXCELLENT/VERY GOOD Vinyl! Just a few surface marks is all. CLEAN!
SPECIAL NOTATION: MY SHIPPING AND HANDLING INCLUDE POSTAGE AND A FRACTION FOR MATERIALS. MY PACKAGING IS THE BEST THERE IS. PERIOD!
USPS TRACKING IS 90 CENTS EXTRA. PLEASE LET ME KNOW UPON PURCHASE IF TRACKING IS DESIRED AND I WILL INCLUDE THE ADDITIONAL CHARGE IN THE PAYPAL INVOICE.

And remember: When you buy from me, you are buying the VERY best!
