Pre-owned in VG+ Condition Wagner: Das Rheingold London OSA 1309 Stereo 3LP Box Set (1959).


This vintage 3-LP box set is a renowned audiophile recording of Richard Wagner's Das Rheingold, conducted by Sir Georg Solti with the Vienna Philharmonic (Wiener Philharmoniker).


This is a classic first-edition 1959 stereo pressing of Wagner's Das Rheingold, part of the legendary Solti 'Ring' cycle. This 'Blueback' box set (OSA 1309) features the 'Full Frequency Stereophonic Sound' (FFSS) wideband labels. Widely regarded by critics as one of the greatest operatic recordings ever made, it is also a staple on the TAS list of best audiophile recordings.


**The set includes all three original LPs and the illustrated libretto booklet.
