Description
A now classic account of Wagner's Ring Cycle - the first 'stereo Ring' which has already aquired legendary
status. This Ring is on Testament, and the sound quality is astounding for a 1955 recording, albeit superbly
remastered for this release. The recording was live from the 1955 Bayreuth festival and has a host of
leading Wagnerian singers.
Each of the operas is in an idividual box complete with notes and libretti. The condition is as new with only
a few discs ever having been played, and Die Walkure still in its wrapping. A superb set.
