Description

Der Ring Des Niberlungen (The Ring of Nibelung) -Wagner - Berlin Philharmonic conducted by Herbert Von Karajan.
Deutche Grammophon 2720 051 (19 LP boxed set)

This is a boxed set of 19 Long Playing  records of the complete Ring Cycle in four operas: Das Rheingold (3 LP's) Die Walkure (5 LP's) Siegfried (5 LP's) Gotterdammerung (6 LP's)

The 19 LP's are in virtually mint condition and in fact, most probably, have never been played.
The outer box is very good but does have some marks and discolouration. The inner boxes are all in excellent condition, as are the individual record sleeves.
The set comes complete with a 192 page hardback book containing notes and libretti in French, English and German. The book itself  is in very good condition although the dust jacket is torn in places.
This set weighs in at an enormous 8kg. Ebay, in it's wisdom, only allows a maximum charge for delivery in this category of £4.50, it will of course, cost considerably more with insurance, which I have had to allow for in the starting price. Cash and personal collection is of course welcome.
To be fair to all, I always let my listings run their course, there is no buy-it-now price. Thank you.
