In a region rife with garage bands, The Wailers were the first and, arguably, the best, and the Tacoma, WA group's 1962 album, At The Castle, is their finest moment. Nearly 40 minutes of shredding rock & soul that inspired groups across the Pacific Northwest and beyond, from The Sonics to The Kingsmen to The Raiders. An absolute ripper of a garage album that still sounds fresh some 50+ years later, reissued on LP by the archaeologists at Mr. Suit.
