Description
THE WALFLOWER COMPLEXTION ORIGINAL 1967 PSYCH/GARAGE LP!!!
One of the absolute rarest Psych/Garage LP's from the USA. This record was given a 6-star rarity rating in Hans Pokora's 1001 Record Collector Dreams which is the highest rarity rating he uses! He also gives it the masterpiece of music symbol which is reserved for only the very best records. The WC were from the USA but lived and recorded in Bogota, Colombia (which probably explains its rarity). This is a MONO pressing which my guess is probably sounds MUCH better than the stereo pressings!
The vinyl is a strong VG (probably VG+ but I'd prefer to be conservative) with great gloss and light hairlines, nothing deep. Both sides play beautifully on my turntable with just some very light noise in between tracks. The labels are super clean with some light spindle marks on side B ... looks like there's 1 light spindle mark on side A. The cover has some water damage (please see photos) which is mostly visible on the top front and back. The artwork is still vivid and the seams/spine are all super solid except for just a tiny bit of corner and edge wear. NO seam splits or taped seams and no writing!
Grab it now or it could be another 2 years before you have a chance to get a copy :o)
