NM: Clean, unplayed.
VG++: The record will have been well cared for and barely played. The record will have some imperfections that in no way affect the original quality of the recording.
VG+: The record has been well cared for and played. The record will have a mark or two that are audible though do not ruin the listening experience. Still a strong record.
VG: The record has been played often in the past and will have several audible imperfections such as background noise or frequent clicking. Still a playable filler copy.
VG-: The record has audible defects that completely ruin the listening experience and /or jeopardize your stylus.
