Description
Here is a rare find--an album that is stamped "the Property of the Production Department Disneyland" and "Property of Disneyland Record Library". The record itself, "Walt Disney Dog Songs" from 1961 is somewhat rare itself but the fact that at one time it was part of the official Disneyland library makes it even more so. I bought this a week ago at a flea market from a woman who said her son worked at Disneyland for some 16 years before being downsized out (I think in the 90's but am not sure of that). I've played the record and it does have some minor issues. On side 1 there are a couple of minor scratches for 6 revolutions total but no skips. Both sides have 10 or so very minor tics each. I'd say the record is in very good shape for being over 60 years old and a children's album at that. The album cover is in quite good shape.
I've never seen a record sleeve like the one that comes with it even when I was a kid. The sleeve is split at the top and both sides. The bottom has a 5" split in the middle but, as the rest of the edge is solid on both sides of it to the sides, the sleeve is stable.
All in all, I'd say this is quite a find for collector seriously interested in Disneyland.
The album will be sent to you via USPS Media Mail in a plastic bag which is protected by two sturdy pieces of cardboard within two business days of ebay notifying me that payment has been received.
Buyers from the lower 48 states only, please.
While I will not accept a return on this item should you have any issues with it please contact me via ebay and I'm sure we can work something out.
Thank you for viewing my listing. Take care and stay safe.
