Description
For sale is one new copy of The War On Drugs' Lost In The Dream pressed on Limited Edition Purple Haze colored vinyl. This was limited to only 400 copies and released by Secretly Canadian in 2014 (catalog # SC310). I originally preordered 2 copies from the label and this one was supposed to be a gift for someone who ended up buying it on their own. Once I listened to the album and realized how good it was I decided to keep the extra copy in case I wore mine out (just kidding, kind of...). Since then this copy has remained sealed and safely stored in my collection. Due to some financial issues I am being forced to part with it.
The vinyl itself is brand new and unplayed. I'm grading the jacket as VG+ condition due to a few small issues that happened during the original shipping. I tried to capture and detail any imperfections the best I could. I should mention that I can be overly picky about condition myself and tend to make things sound worse than they actually are. The 4th & 5th photo's show the top right & bottom left corners respectively which have some slight rounding but nothing major. The other corners are okay. The 6th & 7th show a small indent (maybe 1cm long) along the top edge from both the front and back. The last 2 show a dent along the spine of the jacket from the front and back/edge, and also a small crease next to it on the front side. That dent is probably the worst of it and zooming in on it for a picture makes it look worse and more noticeable than it does in person. Overall the jacket is not that bad, and the VG+ grade might be a little harsh, but I'd rather make things seem worse than the other way around and have someone be disappointed with their purchase. I mostly only buy vinyl and know how upsetting any surprises like these can be when left unmentioned (or happen during shipping due to poor packaging).
Album will be packed safe and shipped for free within 3 business days of sale. Upon request I can carefully remove the vinyl from the jacket when packing the album to avoid the risk of seam splits during transit, just leave a note during checkout. Either way, this will be packed securely and with corner protection to ensure it arrives safe and without any further damage. Sorry, I do not ship outside the US. Any questions feel free to ask. Thanks!
