Description
In the late 70s/early 80s I was a big collector of Joy Division. I am somewhat reluctantly now selling off all their rarest pieces such as this gem "The Ideal Beginning" 7" when they were formerly known as Warsaw. Tracks are "Inside The Line", "Gutz" and "At A Later Date".
Enigma Records PSS138. Comes in a fold-out sleeve similar to Joy Division's debut single "An Ideal For Living". Record and sleeve are in excellent condition. I just played it for old time sake and it's amazing that a band could go from the raw punk sound you hear on this record to something like "Atmosphere" in 3 years!
I have had this in my collection since the early 80s and can confirm it is an original and not a latter day reissue. See my eBay store for other JD rarities such as the Sordide 7"
