Description
This is a fine copy of a 1986 comp of singles and unreleased tracks by two Washington, D.C., area garage bands, the Mad Hatters and the Apollos. The Mad Hatters are the better known group (to collectors) because their drummer joined psych group the Fallen Angels after their demise. Both sides of their two singles are here, as well as four unreleased tracks, two of which are actually Fallen Angels demos. The Apollos also released two singles, though unlike the other group, theirs appeared on small local labels. Both sides of their second single, "Target Love"/"It's a Monster," are included, as well as an alternate version of the a-side of the other single, and four live tracks, the recording quality of which unfortunately isn't that great. The jacket is close to pristine with a little light creasing in the corners (M-). The disc is clean, and plays with minimal surface noise (M-).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs.
