Description

Weezer - Make Believe LP

Cover - The most minor of wear to the cover. One would only see it when tilting it around in the light. Otherwise, no blemishes to speak of. Very nice condition.

Insert - It's one of those insert/sleeve things. (I'm not a fan.) As such, it came brand new with a good amount of the record's shape already pressed into it. There is also a small split in one of the sides from the record poking through. My storing it added nothing to what was already there. You'll be hard pressed to find any of these with "mint" sleeves...even brand-new-still-in-the-shrink-wrap.

Vinyl - The vinyl is a little dusty, still shiny, not grey. It looks as though the dust could be brushed off with a cleaning cloth easily enough; it's not all pushed into the grooves.

I play-tested the first couple tracks before writing this. There is some noise between tracks and during quiet parts of soft songs. A good cleaning will help lessen that. None of that is at all noticeable during the regular tracks that I tested. It really sounds very good.

I bought this used from a record store around where I live not too long after the album came out. I only listened to it a couple times myself. The reason I am selling it is that I have found it was not one of those albums that really stuck with me, so I would rather have it go to someone who will really appreciate it much more than I will.

I'm no professional record-grader, so I don't use Goldmine or anything like that. I prefer to just tell you what I see and hear of the record and sleeve as accurately as I can. I like to collect myself, and want to know as much about the condition as I can, so, that's what I try to do when selling.

The record will be shipped in a cardboard record mailer with the vinyl outside the sleeve so as to prevent seem splits.
