2016 Reissue / Repress - Heavyweight Black Vinyl.

“Weezer (Green Album)” is the band's third album. It was originally released in 2001. The album features a total of ten songs, including famous classics such as “Island In The Sun” and “Hash Pipe.” It was recorded at Cello Studios in Los Angeles and produced by Ric Ocasek. The album was more commercially successful than its predecessors. It reached number four on the US charts.

“Weezer (Green Album)” is the only album featuring bassist Mikey Welsh. He replaced Matt Sharp, who had left the band in 1997. In 2001, however, Welsh was replaced by Scott Shriner -who is still a member of Weezer today- following a suicide attempt due to drug abuse.
