Description
Here it is-- the Holy Grail of "Weird Al" Yankovic records: "Weird Al's" super-rare first single-- his self-distributed 45 EP on Placebo Records. Reportedly only 1,000 copies were ever pressed. This album features the songs "Another One Rides the Bus", "Happy Birthday", "Gotta Boogie", and "Mr. Frump in the Iron Lung". This album appears to be complete with its original folded (as issued) cover insert, white inner sleeve, and plastic outer sleeve. (I assume that the outer sleeve is original to it.)
I WILL BE SELLING CHOICE HORROR AND FANTASY MOVIE SOUNDTRACKS AND OTHER ALBUMS IN THE NEXT WEEK OR TWO. KEEP CHECKING MY LISTINGS!
Please feel free to ask any questions about this album.
CONDITION: Used. We have not played this record, but it looks clean and appears to have been rarely played. There are a few very minor surface marks (see scans). There is some minor wear to the label at the inner ring. (One or two of the scans of the album itself have a bit of glare that looks like wear-- it is not-- please refer to the closer shots of the label for a clearer idea of how they look.) It has been in storage for a long time. The cover insert shows basic signs of handling-- mild wrinkles, a small but noticeable fold in the lower left corner-- but is clean and solid overall. The clear outer sleeve shows some wear and wrinkling, has a minimal dent (which in no way affects the record or insert), and there is a square wrinkle/indentation where a price sticker appears to have been removed (see photo). This record is sold as-is, as a collectible. If you have specific questions about it, PLEASE ask.
SHIPPING: Winning bidder pays $9 shipping in the United States. I DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY AND I ALSO DO NOT SHIP TO THIRD PARTIES IN THE UNITED STATES ON BEHALF OF INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS. INTERNATIONAL BIDS WILL BE CANCELED. Also, we will only be making one trip a week to the Post Office until the international emergency dies down; I will ship orders in a very reasonable amount of time (check my feedback), but don't dock me star ratings because a package came a day or two later than you would have liked-- after all, there's an international emergency going on.
