US Stereo Original Promotional Copy pressed in 1968 on the Skye Discovery Series ( SK-1066 D)
The thick cardboard laminated cover is in VG++ condition. It has a small area of delamination in the lower left corner and a white promo sticker at the lower right. The corners are sharp. These are really minor imperfections and should please all but the most finicky. I have never seen a nicer cover of this psych classic...the cover usually has small micro scratches.
The original printed inner is included..It has a few small creases and no seam splits.
The disc looks absolutely stunning under a strong light source. Appears unplayed. The labels are perfect (no spindle marks) and the vinyl is very thick. A couple of short very faint hairlines can be seen if you look hard to find them. These were most likely caused from placing the record in the inner when manufactured and do not affect play in the least. A solid Mint minus grade for the disc. It play grades as well as looks. I have never heard a quieter pressing of this.
Wendy (18) and Bonnie (15) were sisters who lived in San Francisco when they recorded this classic in the late 60's. The harmonies are so sweet on this that you almost melt. They were able to get some outstanding session players on this such as..Jim Keltner on drums, Larry Carlton on guitar and Randy Cierly on Fender Bass. This record is a classic of it's type, and exists in a world of it's own. Simply fantastic!!
