Description

This 3 day auction is for a LP record titled The Wes Dakus Album With The Rebels on the Capitol label # T 6120 (black label with rainbow color perimeter). It is an original Canadian pressing from 1965 and it was recorded in the USA. The 12 selections are So Fine, Hobo, Twine Time, Rattlesnake, Rolling Rock, Honeybun, Come On Down, Roulette, 20-75, Night Walk, Fried Rice and Do-Wah-Diddy Diddy. The disc is in mint minus condition and the cover is in excellent plus condition. Wes Dakus and The Rebels are from Edmonton, Alberta and at one time were known as the CJCA Rebels. CJCA is a local radio station in Edmonton. The bonus is a color photo copy of a CJCA Top 40 Hits music survey from 1963 and one one side is a photo of Wes Dakus and the CJCA Rebels along with other photos of 6 CJCA Disc Jockeys. The other side of the survey lists the Top 40 Hits, # 1 being He's So Fine by the Chiffons and # 40 being Bo Diddley by Ronnie Hawkins. Barry Allen was one member of the Rebels and I can have him sign the LP cover and the music survey if the buyer wants them signed. Full refund (less the shipping) if you are not satisfied.
