Description
The Wes Minster Five - Railroad Blues/ Shakin' The Blues - UK Carnival Records CV.7017 45, 1964, with Carnival Records sleeve. Two great uptempo instrumental sides with Mod organ, jazzy tenor sax, and great guitar fills! An impressive line-up of British Jazzers here - Dave Greenslade on organ, Mick Eves on sax, Paul Williams on bass, and Jon Hiseman on drums, all of whom who appeared in many great British Jazz groups of the 1960s, and also some prestigious Progressive type groups into the 1970s!! Presumably someone of the calibre of Big Jim Sullivan/Ike Isaacs on guitar? Plays really well, and loudly, with a clean clear sound and production, and great solo sections. I grade my records very conservatively, visually, so there are no nasty surprises, so bid with confidence!
Please Note! I am relisting this item with a higher starting price, as although I had a fair amount of watchers, there were very few actual bids this morning, so I could not gauge the level of interest. If you intend to make a bid on this item, it's preferable if you make a low initial bid, rather than a last minute one, so as to register your interest. I have a considerable amount invested in this item, and cannot afford for the auction to fall flat at the very end.
