Description
This is the original first pressing of The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band Vol 3: A Child's Guide to Good and Evil. Not only is it the first pressing but it is also the rarer UK tri-color Reprise pressing; RS-6298 The sleeve is in a solid VG condition and the media is VG as well. Here are some of the details.
Sleeve: No splits, spine in great condition, some creases in the laminate, corners have very slight wear but no bends. The UK sleeves are very floppy compared to the super stiff US pressings so there tends to be more noticeable wear on these UK sleeves. Two price stickers in the top right corner. No original inner sleeve. Otherwise in VG, almost VG+, condition.
Media: Entire record plays through with no skips. I cleaned it with soap and water and there are no outrageous pops or cracks. There are hairlines that can be seen on both sides (I tired to shine a light off the record to show them). Record is perfectly flat with no signs of warping. Center label is the tri-color steamboat UK reprise label (the US version is the brown Reprise label) In VG- to VG condition.
Grading: I grade based on my opinion, the opinions of my record collecting buddies, and the opinions of my local record store owners. Since this is being sold online I tried to grade conservatively, honestly, and to the best of my abilities.
Shipping: Record will be shipped in a designated record mailer. The record is taken out of the sleeve (but left in the inner sleeve). Both record and sleeve are placed in a poly sleeve and then shipped in between two thick cardboard slips. Shipping includes tracking. I'm sorry but no international shipping.
I hope you're as excited as I was when I first saw this record. It's such a weird psychedelic album with some kooky tracks that'll make you wonder what was going on in their heads when they made this.
