This is THE holy grail of the Griselda movement. The original run 11x14 Flygod & DGSN prints by legendary artist Cxppington.
The word "art" is thrown around a lot these days. Everything is art according to some people.
But to the true lovers of this culture - some things are simply understood.. and the value of what you see here is one of them.
..and to those mentioned above - Salute. I appreciate you taking your time to check out these pieces of carefully curated cultural milestones I am giving you the opportunity to possess.
Let me break down the important details.
First, the beauty of these in person is stunning. Printed on the highest quality paper, the colors just glow and feel 3D behind glass. As much as I try to capture that with my iPhone in the photos, the prints look even more amazing in real life. The photos in this listing do these NO justice in terms of how they look to the eye. The perfect centerpieces for any serious Griselda collection.
It must be noted that these are the first 2 sets of prints ever done by this artist for these historic pieces. They were dropped at different times, printed and shipped weeks apart. Thus, they are not uniformly sized. The Flygod print is actually slightly smaller than DGSN, as can be seen in the photos. Both were sold as 11x14 prints, although neither are exactly that size (DGSN's surface area expands beyond the matte in the photo).
Condition:
Exactly as they arrived from the artist years ago. Flygod is mint. DGSN is near mint, entirely perfect except for a single very small crease in a bottom area that is not visible when the photo is mounted in an 11x14 matte (as seen above). This occurred in original rolling from the artist and, again, absolutely cannot be seen in the area of the photo that is visible in an 11x14 matte. Both prints are signed, and one is numbered (for some reason, Cep only chose to number one of these. Number is on COA and is censored for this auction due to bootleggers).
These prints will not be removed from their frames until shipping time. The shipping cost is high because they will be taken to a professional photo framer, removed from their frame, rolled with care and sent the right way. Therefore no photos can be taken of the signature, numbering, or small DGSN crease since they are behind the matte. However - photos can and will be sent to the buyer during frame removal/shipping to confirm condition listed as accurate, with a full refund issued if there is a problem.
Comes with COA. I have the original receipts and emails of the transactions and am the sole owner.
