White Lion Pride 1987 1st Press OG Inner Sleeve Shrink w/Hype Sticker VG+/VG+.
For auction is a great listeners copy of Pride by American-Danish glam-metal band, White Lion. Their second studio album released in June 1987. It was their commercial breakthrough in the US reaching #11 on the Billboard 200. The band’s most successful record also produced two Top-10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. The single, “Wait” reached #8 while the ballad, “When the Children Cry” peaked at #3. Another single, “Tell Me”, had moderate success landing at #58. Pride has been certified double platinum with sales of 2 million copies. This copy is a 1st Specialty Pressing (SP).
Vinyl is play graded VG+. Some extremely light visible superficial surface marks. Nothing deep. Plays with faint background noise at times that is far from overwhelming. No skips or jumps. Please see pics.
Cover is also in VG+ condition. In shrink with hype sticker. There is a price sticker on front and barcode sticker on back. On front top left corner there is a small crease you can see through shrink. On back top right corner a piece of shrink is missing. Also on back along title edge on bottom there is a stain. Minor wear along open edge. All seams are nice and title is perfectly legible. Original inner sleeve with lyrics is included but a generic white die-cut one is used to protect vinyl. Please see pics.
